     Engine 4 is a 2004 Pierce Dash with a 2000 GPM pump and 1000 gallons of water. The "Mad Dash" has 1500 feet of Large Diameter water supply hose. Engine 4 also has three 1 3/4" preconnects and one 2 1/2" preconnect as well as several hundred feet of 3" supply hose. The cab has seating for eight firefighters and all the equipment necessary to fight various types of fires. Engine 4 is also the BTFD's dedicated FAST team Engine. The FAST team consists of highly trained firefighters who are responsible for rescuing other firefighters who become injured or lost during firefighting operations.





     Tender 6 is a 1996 Peterbuilt six axle ten wheel drive capable water tender. She carries 3500 gallons of water and two collapseable pools at 3500 and 4000 gallons of capacity. The Tender carries every fitting needed to interact with BTFD's mutual aid towns and many other tools for a water shuttle or supply operation. Tender 6 also has the ability to deploy two 1 3/4" preconnects and one 2 1/2" preconnect and can be used as a backup engine.





     Squad 5 is a 2014 Pierce 4x4...




     Utility 10 is a 2003 Ford F350 utility body. Utility 10 has various spill containment equipment such as booms pads and speedy dry.  Utility 10 also holds the departments second cold water rescue suit and a large amount of rescue rope.  The Boonton Township Fire Department also holds a cache of eight 55-gallon drums of Aqueous Film Forming Foam for Morris County, which is used to fight Class B fires.






     Utility 10-A is a 12 foot ridgid inflatable SeaWorthy Rescue boat with a 9.9HP out board engine.  Rescue rope, life jackets and throwable flotation devices are stored.






     Engine 7 is 1967 Hahn Pumper with a 750 GPM 2 stage pump and a 1250 gallon tank. "Sweet Caroline" recently lead the Boonton Township Fire Department to win the 2008 Boonton Labor Day Parade's Highest honor. Engine 7 carries two 1 3/4" preconnects and 1200 feet of 3" supply line. She also carries two high pressure booster lines.






     Rescue 5 is a 1990 Saulsbury International 4WD Rescue/Pumper. It has a 750 GPM midships 2 stage pump with a 500 gallon tank. The Rescue has two 1 3/4" preconnects and one 2 1/2" preconnect as well as 500 feet of 3" supply line. A spool of 500 feet of 1" brush fire line is stored on an automatic reel. Rescue 5 also carries basic firefighting tools and a compliment of Holmatro hydraulic extrication equipment and the Curtis Wright PowerHawk as well as cribbing.  Rescue 5 also carries one of the departments cold water rescue suits and some equipment associated with water and ice rescue.
